The People I Look Up To. By Tane

The People I Look Up To

The people I look up to are Nelson mandela, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi. They are sometimes known as “Peace leaders Of The World”. Others including Buddha are also known to be “Peace leaders Of The World”. People who i also look up to are my parents.

Nelson Mandela: Nelson Mandela was jailed in a place called Gaol. He was sentenced there for supporting Black People’s rights. He died in 2013 at the age of 95 after suffering from a prolonged respiratory infection.

Mother Teresa: She was a kind hearted person before she died. She believed in peace and she had received a Nobel Peace award which shows how peaceful she was. She died in 1997 at the age of 87 due to congestive heart failure.

Martin Luther King:  Martin Luther King was just like Nelson Mandela supporting Black rights. Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and activist who was a leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln and much more. April 4, 1968 was the date he was assassinated. He was murdered by James Earl Ray.

Mahatma Gandhi: Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the preeminent leader of the Indian independence movement in British-ruled India. January 30, 1948 was the date he was assassinated. Murdered by Nathuram Vinayak Godse.

My parents: I look up to them because push me to be more aware of everything. They also teach me my responsibilities to not expect stuff and think everything will go my way. They also give me jobs to understand what hard work is but i am still improving on that.
